Jonathan Davis

Jonathan Davis is the English Horn player for the Pacific Opera Orchestra, Principal oboist of the San Bernardino Symphony, and a member of the Northwind Quintet. He plays regularly with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Pacific Symphony, and numerous other Southern California orchestras.

In 2001, he was the guest principal oboist of the Kansas City Symphony for two months. Dr. Davis has played with the New York Woodwind Quintet and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He studied with John Ferrillo and Elaine Douvas at Juilliard where he earned Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Oboe Performance. He also studied with Ronald Roseman at Yale where his degree was a B.A. (cum laude) in East Asian Studies.
