The University of California, Irvine choral program believes its mission is to provide a foundation in musicianship, repertoire, and performance that will enhance the quality of life of our students and the community.
The UCI Jazz Orchestra is dedicated to performing a wide range of big band repertoire, from classic works to contemporary sounds. The UCI Jazz Small Groups focus on diverse jazz improvisation practices, and are taught by a world-renowned jazz faculty.
UCI Vocal Arts has a proud tradition of pre-professional training for young singers in concert and staged productions.
The UCI Symphony Orchestra is one of the premier large performance ensembles in the Department of Music and offers music majors, non-music majors, faculty and other community members an opportunity to study and perform symphonic music of the ages.
UCI Vocal Arts provides intensive study and exceptional performing opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students wishing to pursue a career in vocal music.
The UCI Wind Ensemble is an advanced ensemble devoted to the study and performance of music composed for varying combinations of wind and percussion instruments.
The UCI Athletic Bands program serves the University as a whole, and is not affiliated with the Department of Music.
