Sharon Mann is Professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. A respected soloist and ensemblist, Dr. Mann is widely regarded for her penetrating interpretations of Bach’s keyboard music. Her re-release of Bach’s Six Partitas has been received with international praise.

Internationally renowned pianist and composer Kei Akagi takes the stage for his annual concert for an evening of modern jazz. He will be joined by colleagues Darek Oles (bass), and Jason Harnell (drums) for an evening of live music. This trio has been together for over 30 years, and seamlessly incorporates the full spectrum of traditional and experimental jazz.

Join us for a special recital celebrating internationally acclaimed violist and UCI Professor Jerzy Kosmala on 60 years of artistic work, including teaching and performing. This concert kicks off the 2022-23 Faculty Artist Series for the Department of Music.
This advanced ensemble is devoted to the study and performance of music composed for varying combinations of wind and percussion instruments. Concerts typically include works written for small groups as well as those written for full symphonic wind ensemble.
