The university-wide Virtual Commencement will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021. It will begin at 9 a.m. PDT and will be broadcast on the UCI Commencement website. Ceremony and reception streams will be viewable, no password or special access is required.

The ceremony will include remarks from Chancellor Howard Gillman, Vice Chancellor Willie Banks Jr. and UCIAA Board President Jack Toan, along with the official conferring of degrees.

After the campuswide ceremony, Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) will host a separate school reception (about 9:30 a.m.). The celebration will include remarks from Dean Stephen Barker and meaningful messages and performances from the associate deans, department chairs, and students. We invite anyone who wishes to watch online.

Participating baccalaureate candidates will be recognized during the all-school ceremony, while graduate students will be acknowledged during a separate ceremony hosted by UCI Graduate Division.

Students who have signed up for in-person Graduate Stage Moment opportunities will be able to take pictures on campus during their assigned time June 13-17, after the virtual ceremony and reception.
