Praised by the New York Times as “a unique argument for the virtue of cross-cultural curiosity,” vocalist and harmonium player Amirtha Kidambi’s quartet Elder Ones presents an ecstatic mix of jazz, Carnatic music, electronic and experimental sounds, and beyond. This event is currently being planned as a live concert with in-person audience. Performers:
Amirtha Kidambi (compositions, vocals, harmonium, synthesizer)
Eva Lawitts (bass, pedals)
Matt Nelson (soprano saxophone, pedals)
