Our Musicology lecture series continues with Prof. Walter Everett, a leading scholar and theorist on the Beatles and popular music. The lecture will take place in the third floor colloquium room in CAC, May 22, 4 pm.

Prof. Everett will speak on "Three Tracks from The Beatles' Revolver: "And Your Bird Can Sing," "Tomorrow Never Knows," and "Eleanor Rigby."

Our next Musicology lecture will continue with Ya-Hui Cheng, author of the definitive history of 20th c. Chinese popular music—The Evolution of Chinese Popular Music, Modernization and Globalization, 1927 to the Present (Routledge, 2023). The lecture will take place in the first floor conference room in CAC, March 13, 4 pm.
