Eric Revis

Eric Revis is one of the most acclaimed jazz bassists of his generation, and has performed and recorded with leading artists including Branford Marsalis, Betty Carter, Peter Brötzmann, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Jason Moran, McCoy Tyner, Andrew Cyrille and many others. He has toured the world as a key member in Branford Marsalis’ quartet since 1997, and as a composer-bandleader and collaborator, he has released numerous, aesthetically wide-ranging albums to extensive critical praise. Mr. Revis has taught jazz workshops at many institutions throughout his career, and has been a mentor to the next generation as part of the Kennedy Center’s “Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead”.
