The graduate seminar in Music Technology will present a short concert of new music involving realtime interaction with digital technology on Thursday June 6 at 8:00 pm in the old Motion Capture Studio, Music and Media 218. Admission is free, and all are invited.

The students have written their own custom software for, and have composed the music/dance/video/lighting for, experimental pieces that involve technologies such as video motion tracking, dancer-controlled animation, algorithmic video editing, telematic lighting control, mathematically generated rhythms, realtime audio capture and effects processing, and granular sound synthesis, all in interaction with live performance.
