Nazo Zakkak
An improvising pianist from an early age, nazo zakkak entered the jazz world and, after performing (locally and internationally) with many notables in the field, graduated with an MFA in Integrated Composition, Improvisation and Technology (ICIT) from UC Irvine. Having abandoned jazz, he now devotes his time and studies to the Orthodox Christian liturgical arts where he has received commissions from churches and monasteries all over the U.S. He is currently teaching at St. Katherine College in Encinitas, California.
