UCI Chamber Singers, an auditioned group of 42 singers, is the flagship ensemble of UCI’s Choral program. The group includes both vocal performance majors and talented singers from other fields. The choir has performed concert premiers at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and regularly collaborate with living composers. Additionally, they have been a part of professional recording projects. In the summer of 2023, the UCI Chamber Singers toured Ireland and participated in the American Song Book Festival with composer Shawn Kirchner. During this time the Chamber Singers performed solo concerts and recitals, collaborative programs, as well as professional music videos. Most recently, the UCI Chamber Singers will be partnering with Signum Records in the spring of 2024 for their first commercial release.
