Shackle is Anne LaBerge on flute and electronics and Deckard on laptop-instrument. Their aim is to explicitly and subtly exploit shackling in both concept and material.

At the heart of the Shackle performance is a digital cueing system, both prodding and reactive, which suggests musical directions and textures to the two live performers. La Berge and Deckard will discuss the nuts and bolts of this cueing system that operates as an interactive third member of their ensemble.
