RECITAL PROGRAM
The Arts [Instruction and Technology] Resource Center has available a
simple MS Word template through which you can fill in your own program
information. The template includes areas and required texts and formats
for the cover, inside of the program, and notes. The template can be accessed
through the launcher on each of the six computers in AITRC 292, then printed
(free of charge) on the networked laser printer. Please choose legible
fonts when typing your program. Avoid script fonts—they look amateur.
There’s also a flyer template provided.
All vocal students are required to include translations with a program.
Give names of poets, when well-known.
The program needs to be proofread and signed off on by your private,
studio teacher. Melissa Robinson and one other faculty member will also
proofread your program. If the program has mistakes or is not signed by
your teacher, it will be returned to you for corrections.
The program needs to be in "ready to print" form. A handwritten
copy will not be accepted.
DUE DATES
All program drafts with your instructor’s signature are due on
or before the departmental program due date to Melissa’s box in
the Music Office by the following deadlines. For example, if your recital
date is March 8, 2005, your program is due November 27, 2004 by 5:00 pm.
Winter Quarter Recital programs are due no later than November 25, 2005
at 5:00 pm.
Spring Quarter Recital programs are due no later than March 4, 2006 at
5:00 pm.
