Please join us for three consecutive evenings of concerts featuring new work by UCI graduate composers!

All three concerts are free, and will take place in Room 218 of the Music and Media Building (MoCap Studio), starting at 8pm.

EXPERIMENTS IN TELEMATIC MUSIC
Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 8pm

This concert features works designed specifically for the telematic (networked, co-located) medium, and is presented by graduate students in an intercampus seminar held this quarter between UC Irvine and UC San Diego. Performers and audiences will be in both spaces (UCSD and UCI) and the concert will feature new works composed and performed by graduate students from both campuses, including:

At UCI:
Anson Brown, Anthony Caulkins, Michele Cheng, Anna Okunev, Richard Savery, and Jordan Watson

At UCSD:
Matthew Kline, Kyle Mottl, Felipe Rossi, Suzanne Thorpe, and Kirsten Wiest

CREATIVE PRACTICES

This concert will feature new works created by ICIT graduate students Anthony Caulkins, Michele Cheng, Molly Jones, Anna Okunev, and Jordan Watson.

Additional performers include: Andrew Anderson, Kasey Bindra, Phoebe Doong, Sally Kang, Leslie Liu, Evyn Barb-Mingo, Carl Olson, Matthew Readdick, Yuri Stickney, and Cynthia Tsai.
