Concerts of Spatialized Music by UCI student and faculty composers

Extensive research into the localization and spatialization of sound, and experiments in the musical uses of multichannel digital audio, are explored through student- and faculty-designed sound installations and musical compositions presented in concerts within the remarkable circular courtyard of the Ayala Science Library on the UCI campus.

Collaborative project by the MFA program in Sound Design in the Drama Department and the PhD program in Integrated Composition, Improvisation and Technology (ICIT) in the Music Department. Supported by UCI Illuminations, the Gassmann Electronic Music Studio, the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, and funding from the Council on Research Computing and Libraries (CORCL).

Free admission. Public is welcome.
