Students of the UCI course "Music 151 - Computer Music Composition" will present recent compositions realized in the Gassmann Electronic Music Studio. The concert will feature works for dancer, instruments combined with tape, and tape alone. The compositions combine synthesized and recorded sounds, using computer control of synthesizers and computer audio editing.
The concert will include works by Vicky Chan, David Chiu, Aaron Cohen, Helena Danovich, Deidre Jenner, Justin Lee, Marques Lyons, Ton Saechua, Jorge Santiago, William Sosropartono, Ian Velasquez, and Tony Yeh.
