He currently performs with the Silk Road Ensemble and his Montreal-based jazz-inspired trio Beat in Fractions.

Notable recordings include The Silk Road Ensemble's "Beyond the Horizon" (Sony BMG, 2005) and *New Impossibilities* (Sony BMG, 2007), Yo-Yo Ma's "Appassionato" (Sony BMG, 2007), Beat in Fractions' "Beat Infraction" (Healthy Boys, 2007), and "The Silk Road: A Musical Caravan" (Smithsonian Folkways, 2002). His technology interests include developing interactive music systems for works with shakuhachi, commercial software applications for music theater, and mixed-media collaborative works.
