West Side Story
America's greatest modern-era musical celebrates its 51st anniversary. This Claire Trevor School of the Arts production of West Side Story features Leonard Bernstein’s breathtaking score for full orchestra, with thrilling dance numbers and favorite songs including "Maria," "Tonight," "I Feel Pretty," "One Hand, One Heart," "Cool" and "Somewhere." "Something’s Coming" indeed, as a pair of star-crossed lovers face the gripping tension between the Jets and the Sharks. Bristling with the energy and passion of the streets of New York, UC Irvine’s vibrant production will stir your heart and bring a fresh appreciation for this unparalleled musical masterpiece.
