Kojiro Umezaki and Silk Road Ensemble album nominated for Grammy

Sing Me Home, released in 2016 by Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble, was nominated for a Grammy in the Best World Music Album category. UCI Associate Professor Kojiro Umezaki appears as a performer, co-composer and associate producer on the album. Umezaki also appears in the film version of The Music of Strangers, which received a nomination in the Grammy Best Music Film category.
